Our consultations are Bulk Billed if you are the holder of a Medicare Card. If you are not then please ask for a price. We accept most credit cards. We do not charge for Memberships to our service nor do we work for selected General Practitioners.

At a home visit, we can provide medical certificates, coordinate hospital admissions, palliative care, assist in medication, deal with breaks and sprains, laceration sutures, mental health issues, pregnancy tests, anxiety issues, perceived fears about a health problem, respiratory problems, severe or long term pain, fever, drastic changes in behaviour, untreated infection, severe diarrhea, vomiting, ear infection, non stop coughing, accidents, alcohol issues, stomach pain, bladder pain.

No, call 000. Our service is for non-life threatening requiring urgent treatment. Life threatening means your life is in danger for example chest pains, heart attack, fits, asthma attacks and you must call 000 in those cases.

A home GP visit is available anytime between Monday to Friday from 6pm till 8am, Saturday from 12pm, and Sunday and Public Holidays 24 hrs. We take bookings 2 hours prior to these home visit opening hours.

Our doctors can prescribe medications which can be filled at in many cases either 24hr pharmacies or the following day. You are at liberty to choose your own pharmacy. In some cases sample medications can be provided in an emergency should this be necessary. We do not provide addictive or illegal drugs.

All Doctor To You doctors are experienced, qualified and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Yes, your Personal Health Information is strictly private and secure

As we only provide care outside normal opening hours, we do not hold active patient health records as defined in the Standards. We will retain for each patient that Doctor To You sees outside normal opening hours some basic health records. Our patient health records include patient identification; contact and demographic information including:

• the patient’s full name
• date of birth
• gender (as stated by the patient)
• phone number(s)
• address
• medical history (where known)
• consultation notes (for care outside normal opening hours and home visits)
• letters received from hospitals or consultants
• other clinical correspondence, investigations or referrals, and results

This information is still considered health information and as such it must be protected under the Privacy Act (1988) – viewable at . All patient information must be considered private and confidential and we do not disclose individual patient’s records either verbally, in writing, in electronic form unless directed by the patient, their regular General Practitioner or regulatory body. Doctors, allied health practitioners and all other staff and contractors associated with Doctor To You have a responsibility to maintain the privacy of personal health information and related financial information.
