In 2007, Dr Khoo became a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. Dr Andrew Oar

He completed the majority of his specialist training at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals in Sydney. He underwent a fellowship in lung and gastrointestinal cancer as well as stereotactic radiation therapy. Dr Oar completed his specialist radiation oncology examinations in August 2016, and became a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in May 2018. Dr Oar has presented his research work into pancreatic cancer and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at both national and international conferences. He is an executive member of the Asia Pacific Radiation Oncology Special Interest Group (APROSIG) and conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and University of Western Sydney (UWS).
