Professor Tarek Meniawy is an oncologist at Fremantle Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. He has been a consultant oncologist at the hospital since 2006, and is the Director of the Oncology Department. Professor Meniawy is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, and has a particular interest in gastrointestinal, breast and lung cancers. He is also involved in research into new treatments for cancer, and has published numerous papers in this field. Professor Meniawy is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and is a member of several professional organisations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the European Society for Medical Oncology.
