Dr Rob McGregor


Dr Rob McGregor obtained undergraduate qualifications in Diagnostic Radiography and subsequently obtained

the Diploma of Medical Ultrasound (General) and the Diploma of Medical Ultrasound (Vascular). Rob has trained and worked in all aspects of sonography excluding Echocardiography. Rob has led research and development particularly within vascular and musculoskeletal ultrasound. During the last 10 years Rob has lectured and demonstrated ultrasound throughout Australia, South East Asia and New Zealand.

their cancer journey and providing the best possible advice based upon the latest evidence-based medicine. Dr Andrew Lee is a radiation oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Canberra and The Canberra Hospital. He has lived and worked in Canberra since 2009. Originally from Shepparton, Victoria, Dr Lee graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2004 and was accepted into radiation oncology training in 2009. He obtained his fellowship in 2014 and has worked as a consultant in radiation oncology since then.

Dr Arun Abraham


Dr Arun Abraham is clinical lead of cardiac imaging at Royal Perth Hospital and a consultant echocardiologist

at Fiona Stanley Hospital. Dr Abraham has completed advanced fellowship training in Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI, Echocardiography and nuclear cardiology including PET. Dr Abraham is a clinical associate professor at Curtin University and has experience in leading advanced cardiac imaging programs in Western Australia.

Science (Orthodontics) in 1998. He worked as an Orthodontist until 2009 when he returned to university, and completed his doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology in 2011.

Dr Iain Duncan is a founder of Garran Medical Imaging (GMI) and has been a leader in Canberra ultrasound

and nuclear medicine for more than 20 years. He has an unrelenting passion to improve patient outcomes through the proactive response to clinical problems and direct relationships with other clinicians. Iain continually introduces new technology, provides clinical care for many, and participates in academic advancement.

Dr Robert Allen


Dr Robert Allen graduated in medicine from Sydney University in 1969. Training in Radiology at the Austin

Hospital he gained further specialist training at Kings College Hospital in London. He returned to Australia in1977 taking a position at The (now) Canberra Hospital.. He has developed a career in interventional radiology techniques in the years since then both at The Canberra hospital and within Canberra Imaging Group.

Dr Rose Thomas


Dr Thomas is the Director of Training at Northern Hospital, Melbourne and a member of the Healius Clinical

Council. Dr Thomas received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Pretoria in South Africa and studied at the Peninsula Radiology Academy in Plymouth, UK. Previously, Dr Thomas completed a Body Imaging Fellowship at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and a Body Imaging and Hepatobiliary Fellowship at The Austin Hospital, Melbourne. In her spare time, Dr Thomas enjoys free weight training, going to the movies and travelling.
