Dr Joris Mekel is a cardiologist based in Shepparton, Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a Member of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of cardiac conditions. He has a special interest in echocardiography and cardiovascular imaging. He is also an accredited provider of cardiac rehabilitation and has a particular interest in the prevention of cardiovascular disease. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and regularly presents at conferences.
