Dr Shamim Samedani is a gastroenterologist based in Hobart, Tasmania. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia. He has a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease, functional bowel disorders, endoscopy and capsule endoscopy. He has extensive experience in the management of Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease and other gastrointestinal conditions. He is also a passionate advocate for improving access to quality healthcare for all.
