Gerard E Carroll AM is a cardiologist and the Director of the Cootamundra Heart Clinic in Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a member of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. He has been a consultant cardiologist at Cootamundra Hospital since 2000. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, and a past President of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. He has published numerous papers in the field of cardiology, and is an internationally recognised expert in the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease and other cardiovascular conditions. He is actively involved in research and clinical trials, and has been involved in the development of several new treatments for cardiovascular diseases.
